I have known Susan personally for several years, and knew her to be a nice and genuine person, so I naturally thought of her when I needed a real estate agent to sell my home. My husband insisted on interviewing several agents anyway, and we still found Susan to be outstanding as far as her willingness to work with us to get the job done, so we decided to work with her. From the day we signed the contract, she was promoting our property to buyers agents, and she began getting all necessary paperwork going. Recently we completed the purchase of a lovely single story home in the Carmel Valley area of San Diego. We had just recently sold a property thru the 1031 process, thus we had a short time to reinvest our funds. We had previously used Susan on another sale of property several years ago, and her performance was outstanding—so we called on her again. She listened intently to our desires and requirements, probing just the right amount to be satisfied that she knew what we wanted. Over a matter of just a couple weeks, she identified a couple of possibilities and walked us thru the deals—the pluses and minuses. Then she called us up with the deal! It was perfect for us—location, size, cost, potential for rental purposes. And we had to make an offer immediately, sight unseen (by the way, we live 3000 miles away so all of these transactions took place remotely). Susan expertly guided us thru the offer process, then the subsequent counter offer process. At each step, she was right on with her judgments and predictions. The fact that our bid was successful was due entirely to Susan's sage advice and counsel. As anyone knows who has recently purchased a home, once the offer is accepted, the work really begins. I can't tell you how many forms/documents we had to review and sign, nor how many times Susan or her able staff contacted us—it seemed like a zillion! However, Susan has a remarkable process set up using secure electronic signatures that saved an enormous amount of time and effort.
